Nehemiah Project

What is the Nehemiah Project?

The Nehemiah Project is about transforming lives, restoring families, and strengthening our communities through a holistic and faith based approach.  The family is the foundation of all communities and through the Nehemiah Project, New Life addresses the needs of the entire family by focusing on spiritual issues, economic needs, and academic success.

Why the Nehemiah Project?

The Nehemiah Project answers the Cry of the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area) and the Nation. Nehemiah 2:17 says, “Then I said to them, You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.” Just as Nehemiah discovered when rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, we have to be both warriors and workers. We work with vigilance and diligence to accomplish what God has called us to, and together, we will achieve His purpose.

Transforming Lives, Restoring Families, Strengthening Our Community

Through a holistic and faith-based approach, the Nehemiah Project deals with core issues and uses Biblical principles to provide culturally relevant human and economic development services.

New Life is a youth and family service organization providing summer and after school academic programs, youth enrichment programs, and family development services. These programs focus on fostering high self-expectations, academic achievement, and economic empowerment among high-risk, low-income youth and families.

The Vision

We believe an end-time harvest is coming and that from Him a mighty army.  The Nehemiah Project is building upon an expansive vision of equipping, training and releasing powerful people of the gospel from all nations and denominations in the body of Christ. Our desire is to create a dynamic missions base where Christians can come to get restored, refreshed, trained and sent out into the world with fire and boldness to accomplish their end-time ministry.
